Download Blog at download.com has come up with the list of top 10 FireFox Extension for year 2007. Must say they have done some real good research in picking up best ones.
Aptly describing extensions as grains of sand on beach, considering the huge number of FireFox extensions that are available now.

Google is all out to please cricket buffs. Now you can get LIVE Cricket scores on Google News Homepage (India). Be it any cricket match, anywhere in the world, you get all the latest information. Previously Google introduced Live Cricket Scores feature in Google Search results and now same has been introduced on Google News Homepage.

As seen in the image above, LIVE Cricket information will appear on top-right part of Google News page. You can also customize contents on the page by using ‘customize this page’. (more…)
Snarl is a notification system that display cool alpha-blended messages on the screen. Unlike other forms of notification, Snarl does not hijack the current focused window, nor does it force the taskbar to be visible.
Also, notifications can either be cancelled by clicking on them, or left to disappear automatically if ignored for a period of time. Messages are extensible too as Snarl will notify the application which displayed the message if the user clicks it.

Google is doing some experiments with Orkut Privacy feature to “Search Orkut Profiles using Google Search”. Now your Orkut profile will be indexed by Google Search engine and will appear in results as ‘Orkut One Box’. A OneBox is a summary of your orkut profile, including key details like your name, photo and location.

Your information now public? Well not to worry, you have option to opt out of the search results and keep your profile ’safe and secure’. Also, profiles wont appear in search results if you are logged into Orkut account. Getting all confused??? Well, this should clear things out…
