You must have seen Microsoft Office Assistant ‘Clippy’ which pops up now and then.

This attention grabbing character asks you few questions in an attempt to help you find your way using MS Office.

It is helpful but sometime it can get over your head. It can be very distracting at times and you can easily put it to rest by disabling ‘Clippy’ with a right click.

You can easily open multiple programs in a single click without installing any software or utility for the same. This is possible by creating a batch file for the programs you want to open.

“Batch file” may look scary and difficult for some, but it is very easy to make one. Here is the simple procedure, open notepad and type the following:

@echo off
start “Firefox” “C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe”
Start “IE” “C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE”

Adobe Labs has released latest beta version of Creative Suite CS4 which includes: Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Soundbooth. You can download them right now and try them for free for atleast 2 days.

Existing customers of Dreamweaver CS3 and Fireworks CS3 can request a serial number to activate the respective beta for the duration of the prerelease period. For Soundbooth beta, anyone with any CS3 product serial number can request and receive a beta serial number and activate the Soundbooth beta.

Every webpage has different formatting in terms of fonts, colors and much more. Viewing a HTML page with small font size can really hurt your eyes.

IE does have ‘Text Size’ feature to increase font size on any webpage. On top menu of IE, go to ‘View’, point to ‘Text Size’ and select text size among “Largest, larger, medium, smaller, smallest”.

However, this ‘Text Size’ feature does not work on number of web elements and you are stuck with small size text in IE. Easy Read is possible alternative that comes to rescue when IE’s ‘Text Size’ (more…)
