Wait is over, BlackBerry 8800 has arrived in India from RIM Research in Motion. It is the first smart phone from the company to feature built-in GPS (Global Positioning System).
At 14mm long BlackBerry 8800 is the thinnest Blackberry handset ever and comes with a full Qwerty keyboard, multimedia features, a microSD expandable memory and trackball navigation system.The BlackBerry 8800 is expected to be available this month at a price of Rs 31,990 from major telecom players.

BlackBerry 800 has a large, ultra-bright, high resolution (320 x 240) landscape screen. The built-in light sensing technology also automatically adjusts the screen, keyboard, and trackball brightness depending on the environment. The handset has a standby time of 22 days and a talk time of 5 hours.
Few features missing in this new handset include a camera, Wi-Fi, and infrared. Missing camera is argumented by company as it is a business phone and many business areas do not allow camera phones.
