Google has launched a new competition with cool prize money of 2,000,000 INR for the winning team. As the name suggest ‘Product Prodigy Competition’, they are looking for young minds to develop some awesome applications.

Here is the official line from Google about the theme on which the product is to be developed in the competition… To organize the world’s information and to make it universally accessible and useful.

Competition is open to all Computer Science students of select Engineering Colleges only. One can have a team consisting of 2–5 students per institute.

After initial screening Google will also provide funds of up to 50000 INR for further development of projects. Competition’s registration is open till September 2007, You can find all the details on Google’s Product Prodigy webpage.
