iphone 3G will definitely make India debut in this month (August). Airtel and Vodafone are slowly revealing dates and deal they will be offering for iphone 3G. Previously, Aug 18 was speculated as probable iphone launch date.
Add few more days, Aug22 is the confirmed launch date of iphone 3G by Airtel. US-based Apple has tied up with Airtel and Vodafone to bring iPhone in the country. While Airtel has confirmed the launch, no news yet from Vodafone.
Still there is no pricing or plans on offer information from either Airtel or Vodafone. Nevertheless, iphone will find lot of takers on D-day considering its iconic status.
IPhone is embedded with all 3G features and is twice as fast as the existing mobile phones. The phone also has in-built GPS system, that facilitates as a navigation and positioning tool.
