“iPhone is coming to India”, this news has been going around for a while now. Telecom providers Airtel and Vodafone are confirmed outlets to offer iphone 3G in India.
iphone 3G will launch on Aug 18 (as reported by tech2.com). While launch date is in-sight other details like pricing and plan information are still hazy.
Both Airtel and Vodafone seems to be playing ‘wait and watch’ game regarding that. However, pricing will be a notch higher than price in US and other European countries. 3G iPhone in India at Rs 20,000 - Costliest in World !
