Sexy? Well, this is the best looking operating system from Microsoft Ever. Windows Vista is celebrating its 1st birthday, as it turns one year old.
Windows Vista till now had mixed response ranging from real good to real crap piece of software.
It was released to business users on 30 November, 2006 while the consumer versions of Vista was available since the end of January 2007. Vista looks are jazzy, but it is also a resource hugger.
Anyone wanting to switch over to Windows Vista need to upgrade PC’s hardware. Overall Windows Vista changeover from Windows XP has been slower than Microsoft wants. This is true for both home-users and business users as:
- Service packs for XP & Vista still makes Windows XP faster.
- Not many applications are compatibly with Windows Vista.
- Drivers issues and hardware up-gradation costs.
Even with so many shortcomings, Vista seems to be Microsoft’s baby for the future. With initial service pack release and full service pack release in 2008, things may change for good.
Its Windows Vista ‘happy birthday’ here goes my wishes to this sexy. Probably this will rule majority of computers in coming years, who knows as its Microsoft taking care of this baby. [via]
