“…after Windows 98, Windows XP has been the best operating system from Microsoft. Vista seems to have more problems than solutions.” These sentiments are shared by number of Window Users. Though Microsoft is trying hard to fix bugs in Windows Vista, still picture is not so bright even after Vista’s first birthday.

Microsoft will end OEM and shrink-wrapped sales of Windows XP on June 30, 2008, forcing users to shift to Vista. Most Window users still love worry free XP rather than troublesome Vista. Vista has its good points but XP anyway out-shines Vista in performance and stability.
Window XP is Window Vista’s biggest competitor and Microsoft is all out to kill XP in year 2008. Do you want this to happen? Although Microsoft denies that anything is wrong with Vista or that most people don’t want it, the company has already postponed XP’s demise by six months. That’s a start, but it’s not good enough.
SaveXP campaign has been launched to keep XP alive. It is not against Windows Vista but it is PRO Windows XP. Microsoft does have an option of keeping both XP and Vista platforms alive and run them parallel.
It is highly unlikely for Microsoft to do that. Clock is surely ticking and SaveXP campaign is all out to prevent XP to die. You can also sign up for SaveXP petition and show your XP love.
Even if XP dies, it will be remembered as one of the ‘BEST’ Window based operating system - atleast in my books, what about you? [via DownloadSquad and SaveXP]

After decades of computer use, Windows Vista is THE WORST OS I have ever experienced. I’d rather have my C64 back. I really enjoyed using Windows XP but Vista makes the Mac look awfully sweet. If the Vista updates aren’t amazing, I’ll go Apple and never look back.
