Show Desktop is a handy feature that allows you to minimize all opened Windows in a single click and see the desktop screen. We have been using Show desktop button on the taskbar in Windows XP and Vista. Add Show Desktop button in Windows 7
1. Download Show Desktop utility & install it.
2. After install, click Start & type show desktop (no 1).

3. Right click on Show Desktop link (no 2) and then click “pin to taskbar” link (no 3).

4. Show Desktop should appear on taskbar of your Windows 7 PC. Simple, isnt it?

It’s a matter of placement. All the other quick links are at the bottom left, and it seems more natural (old habit, I’m sure) to click there instead of the bottom right, especially on a large screen.
O.o The show desktop button is right beside the clock… Its there, and doesn’t take up any space. I suppose this is nice if you prefer to see the actual button, but seems rather redundant to me.
