Here is interesting web service for solo artists or band music creators. Not only you can spread your music but also earn while doing so.
This is possible with ‘Divvycast’. It is an inclusive web service where you can produce, upload, and distribute your music.
Bands, solo artists, producers, and DJ’s can get closer to their core audience, reach new fans, and get paid while they’re doing it. Basic service is free with other membership options as well.
After you create an account, produce and upload your podcasts with free software provided by Divvycast. Then you can spread your presence by publishing your podcast and building audience at places like iTunes & Yahoo! Podcasts.
With this you can enable your fans to download and stream your podcast directly from popular online communities like MySpace and TagWorld. With more popularity you can attract the attention of sponsors and advertisers across the globe.

Divvycast is a great idea but anyone interested in trying it out should be aware that, even though Divvycast launched in late 2006 and has been soliciting bands, they still don’t have any advertisers on board. So, for the past 15 months, not a single band has made a single penny for any of their podcasts. The parent company, Singing Electrons, is having serious financial problems, and has not released new versions of any of its software for over a year. This means that Mac users still don’t have any Divvycast software with which they can create podcasts and that PC users don’t have any Vista compatible software available.
