Things went haywire for Wordpress development with news of skipping Wordpress 2.4 and a long wait for Wordpress 2.5 Finally the wait is over, WP 2.5 has been officially released with all new look and features. Some key features of this version include:
- Multi-file uploading.
- One-click plugin upgrades
- Built-in galleries &Â customizable dashboard.
- Cookie encryption & media library.
- WYSIWYG that doesn’t mess with your code.
- Full-screen writing, & search that covers posts and pages.
Lot of new features to look forward. The feature I am loking forward to try is ‘in-built gallery’ support. Thanks to Matt, you can now see live working preview of this gallery feature. This feature allow individual comment for every image in the gallery. [more documentation]
