Finally Adobe has launched integrated web based interface for its services as “Acrobat.com”. It can be used for file sharing, file storage, PDF converter, online word processor, and web conferencing.

Just like Google Docs, this free web based offering from Adobe allows you to create and share documents, communicate in real time, and simplify working with others. Here is run down of basic features it offers:

1. Create PDF – Create and convert up to five files to Adobe PDF online. Yeah, just 5 files – not sure of intent of such restriction when you have unlimited options like Zamzar.

2. Adobe Buzzword – It is an online word processor for writing reports, proposals, and anything else you need to access online or work on with others. It is just like a desktop Word processor working in your web browser, neat!

3. Store Files – Each free account gets 5 GB of file storage space. You cannot use it for uploading audio / video files. It can be used for file types like:Â Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PDF files, and images.

4. Share Files – You can share files by sending file specific URL to your friends – no need to send files as attachment. You can control list of people accessing you files. You can also embed documents on a website, blog or wiki.

5. Adobe Connect Now – Use screen sharing, chat, notes, audio, and video to conduct meetings online with up to three participants. You will have unique meeting room URL with ability to interact via chat and video.
