Beta1 of Wordpress 2.7 is out and is available for test drive. Wordpress 2.7 brings new visual design makeover for wordpress dashboard with links aligned on left side.
As pointed by Wordpress Blog, Beta 1 provides the best experience in Firefox and Safari. They are working on IE and Opera and will have those looking good in time.
Also, the official release will not be available on November 10th as originally scheduled. It is two weeks behind schedule as more time is required to finish the visual design makeover.
Final release is expected by end of November, in the meantime download Wordpress 2.7 & test drive the new dashboard interface.
