Google has now launched its official ‘Google Sitemap Generator (Beta)’ tool. You can install this free application on your server and it will create sitemap for your blog or website. It promises to be different and better from currently available 3rd party sitemap generator tools. It helps:

- Generate XML Sitemaps as per sitemaps.org standard.
- Generate Mobile Sitemaps for mobile-friendly websites.
- Ping to Google Blog Search for new or modified URLs.
Google Webmaster Blog explains, “… while most Sitemap generators either crawl websites or list the files on a server, we have created a different kind of Sitemap generator that uses several ways to find URLs on your website and then allows you to automatically create and maintain different kinds of Sitemap files.” Google Sitemap Generator Beta for better and more effective sitemap for your website (hopefully!).
Site map is a very important file for robot. It made easy to crawl a site. But all sites have no sitemap. So I think site map generator tools is a very useful tools for the site owners who have no sitemap.
