Codec drivers installed on computer allows you to playback respective audio and video media files. InstalledCodec is a small utility that helps you see list of installed Codec drivers and DirectShow filters installed on the computer. This utility does not require install: just download, unzip and double click to use.

It displays lot of information regarding each codec on computer including: display name, type, disabled status, installed/modified time, description, company name, filename. You can enable or disable any codex using right click menu. It also allows you to export install codec information to txt, html or XML file. Download InstalledCodec

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with your Windows 7 PC. I know how frustrating it can be when you can’t get your system to work properly. You might want to consult the Windows 7 forum at microsoft.com/springboard, there may be some information about compatibility with your system, please keep in mind, if your system was stable before, and you have the Vista Drivers they will work with Windows 7, so you may want to revert to them.
