Opening new tab in Google Chrome show recently closed tabs and history details. While it is useful for few users, others may find it irritating having to see cluttered new tab page. You can easily blank out stuff on new tab page using Chrome extension or creating a blank page bookmark button.
1. Use Empty New Tab Page extension
Launch your Chrome browser and click here to install Empty New Tab Page extension. After installation, new tab page will open as blank or empty as against page with recent history thumbnails and other stuff. For sure handy addition for neater browsing in Google Chrome.
2. Manual method for blank page
Open Chrome browse and type about:blank and then drag this to bookmarks bar. From now on, click this bookmark button to open blank new tab page. You can right click this bookmark button and open blank tab or window as per requirement.
