Last Christmas we checked out desktop Christmas tree with countdown clock. Here is even better and easy animated Christmas Tree on the desktop. It is fully portable: just download zip file of any Christmas tree, unzip it and double click icon to see animated Christmas tree on the desktop.
You can move the tree to any part of the desktop by dragging with mouse. You can also set transparency levels to specific percentage by right clicking the animated tree. There are options to stay on the top and run at the startup.
