Open blank empty page in New tab on Safari

ADVERTISEMENTS

Safari browser has glitzy start page complete with thumbnail images of top sites. While few users find this loaded default startpage very useful (which appears when a new tab is opened), others may find it annoying. You can easily take it off and set blank empty page to appear while opening new tab in Safari browser.

Set blank webpage on New tab in Safari

1. Open Safari browser on your computer.

2. Goto Edit > Preferences or Safari > Preferences.

3. Under the “General tab”, select “empty page” option from drop down box next to “New tabs open with” option.

Alternatively, you can also select home page, same page or page from bookmarks to appear in new tab on Safari browser.
