Easy Gmail searching with search auto complete

ADVERTISEMENTS

Gmail gets new feature of search autocomplete to help you dig out specific email message more quickly and easily. Just like Google Suggest feature, this feature pops up suggestions for keywords you type in search box in your Gmail inbox. To get started, enable AutoComplete by going to Settings > Labs, hit enable button next to ‘Search Autocomplete’ and click save changes.

Unlike irritating Google Suggest feature (which many users wanted to turn OFF), search autocomplete is very useful feature to quickly jump over to required email IDs, messages and even old photos received in Gmail. You can use advanced search operators or play around using simple words like friend’s name followed by photos type: JPG, PNG. Possibilities are many, tryout and see which fits best to your Gmail searching needs.
