Import / Export Gmail filter to handle bulk email

ADVERTISEMENTS

Filters (labels and folders) are very effective way to manage tons of incoming email in your Gmail account. Using this, you can filter different emails as per requirement for better email management. Gmail Labs gets new feature of Filter import / export. To get started, goto settings > Labs and enable filter import export option in your Gmail inbox.

It allows you to sxport your mail filters as a file: back them up, share them, or save them before deleting so you can restore them later. Import one of these files to quickly add or restore filters. These options become available under Settings/Filters when you enable this Lab.
