Windows Vista is slow in copying files, well this is not new. But how about Vista taking over 131 years to Copy 168MB of Images to make a CD? This should be NEW! Windows Vista is making new records in getting slower and slower. Check the picture below.

While system was stuck, copying job was cancelled. Same was done successfully using Nero 7 in couple of minutes using CDs from same pack and on laptop that had 1.25 GB of RAM, 15 GB of free hard disk space and runs on a Centrino Pentium M740. Now this hurts, (more…)

Scientists have given ‘Einstein’ a comeback as an android head with a humanoid body. This project named as “Albert HUBO” aims to integrate the two distinct research areas of an android robot and a bi-ped humanoid robot.

Seems like heavy loaded stuff, anyway they have found a good foil in the form of humanoid head to hide all those robotic wires. Check out the picture, it is just like Einstein coming back from space Voyage!

Besides the appearance looking new, this biped walking robot with an android head is a first in the world achievement. The single robot is comprised of two independent systems. Windows Vista is back in news again for not so good reasons. PC World has crowned Windows Vista as ‘Biggest Tech Disappointments of 2007′. PC World questioned…. “Five years in the making and this is the best Microsoft could do?”

It adds… It’s not that Vista is awful, but it’s just that Vista isn’t all that good. I am sure PC World is not alone with such views regarding Windows Vista. Ask people who used Windows Vista. w00t has been declared ‘Word of the year 2007′ by Merriam Webster. w00t means expressing joy (it could be after a triumph, or for no reason at all). similar in use to the word “yay”. For example: w00t I won the game!

Gaming community must be cheering at this selection as w00t finds its origins from gaming forums. It comes from what is known as l33t (”leet,” or “elite”) speak—an esoteric computer hacker language in which numbers and symbols are put together to look like letters.
