Time it takes for a site to open is very important. In case your site does not load in about 7 seconds, chances are people will skip it and move on to next blog.
Do you want this to happen to your blog? I am damn sure NO. So, what basic things one can do to add fire to your blog and make it open like knife in butter box.
Here is list of basic tweaking and simple management, that will surely help in adding some speed to your blog:
1. Image Format & Optimization:
Images take the major chunk of bandwidth on any blog. It is very important that we optimize images and strike a perfect balance between the quality & size of a photo. If you are using Abode PhotoShop, then must use option ‘Save for Web’ to optimize images. Also, you need to select correct image format for a particular image you show. (more…)

Here is reminder of age old trick in Windows XP to show your name next to clock on the taskbar.
See the pic and you will know it all. It is very easy to do so, here is the simple procedure:
1. Click on Start, point to Settings, click on Control Panel.
2. Double click on Regional and Language options.
3. Then Click on Customize option next to ‘English(United State)’.
4. In the new window, click on the Time tab at the top.
5. Then Change AM to PM in the drop down box.
6. Then change PM to manually type your name.
7. Click on Apply and Ok
After doing above, double click on Clock on bottom right part of the screen to open ‘Date and Time properties window”
Next to the Time display, click on the arrow: it will change AM/PM to your name… enjoy!

This website will help blind people pick and buy trendy clothing that is fitted with braille tags and then delivered to their doorstep. Nice move to en-power independent lifestyle for visually impaired.

So, do you run a blog or website? If yes, what would you like to identify as: a Blogger or a webmaster.
One can’t be both at any given time, though you can change roles at different times. Webmaster, as I would define is a person who master his website, while a blogger is one who keeps in the constant flow of blog content and updating.
Even though both: webmaster and blogger are different we all still tend/try to be both. However, in most cases one ends up as a Blogger rather than a Webmaster. So, what differentiate a blogger from a webmaster, here goes…
1. Look and Design of a site - A Blogger would put all his content on a blog with pre-designed template. Rarely one would see a person designing his own template. In some case, you will see Bloggers paying up to get custom made templates, but that is it. (more…)

After slew of recent website makeovers like Ibnlive, NDTV, Indiatimes etc MTVindia.com follows them.
However, story here is bit different. It is the complete brand MTV that is being revamped. So what is new…. for the starters its no longer MTV enjoy!
Now the punch line is… its my MTV. Channel head indicate shift from generic music channel to a Youth Channel. The new programming will include shows on food, alternative careers, style, etc. (more…)
