Online World got its biggest news of 2008 - that Microsoft is damn interested in acquiring Yahoo. Microsoft is in all out mood to tackle Google Gang which is getting stronger and stronger.

Some will say, Microsoft is just covering its butt from the fact “it is losing to Google in the online World”. Should this make Google worried? I am sure it won’t, Google has some sane brains taking some cool decision. Just check these stats.
- Microsoft started in 1975, while Google in 1998
- Microsoft Revenue $51.12 Billion, Google $16.6 Billion.

For years we have been using search engines like Google, msn to dig out the required stuff from internet. We have become accustomed to seeing search results in text form spread over number of pages. So, keep clicking and hopping to next page to view more results.
Another form of search - visual search is emerging. Besides the screenshot of website in the search result, there is less hopping to multiple pages for more results. RedZee Search is a visual search that provide search results in the form of website thumbnail images.

Screenshots of Windows Vista successor - Windows 7 are out again! Back in Dec 2007 we gave you sneak peek into possible Windows 7 look. That look resembled more to Mac OS than to any other Windows Operating system. Now new screenshots of Windows 7 have appeared on a Chinese blog.

These looks more like Windows Vista. Are these screenshots legitimate? Not many have answer to this question. Hope it is not a photoshop(ed) work of any publicity monger.
