So you want to transfer files from one folder to another using Windows Explorer and you would know the limitations and pain of moving to and fro in the same window. Other alternative we choose is opening two Explorer Windows and then perform the transfer.
There is another alternative to this issue, a freeware FolderBox. It displays additional folders in the lower part of Explorer, which enables you to display the contents of two folders at once.
This makes file transfer really easy and breeze. Also, you can add up to 5 tabs on this window with each tag specifying unique folder location. So, in single explorer window you can transfer files to 5 different locations without flipping the window around.
You can download this software here (scroll down link for FolderBox)

So you want to create reflection to an image but not so good at PhotoShop stuff, well there is an alternative: Reflection.js allows you to add reflections to images on your web pages. It uses unobtrusive javascript to keep your code clean.
It works in all the major browsers - Internet Explorer 5.5+, Mozilla FireFox 1.5+, Opera 9+ and Safari. On older browsers, it’ll degrade and your visitors won’t notice a thing. Best of all, it’s under 5KB.
Here are few cool examples:
So, why use this javascript, here are few benefits (as per site)
- Fast and easy to implement. Just add class=”reflect” to the image.
- Don’t need to spend time in an image editor creating reflections.
- Works really well with forum avatars. Doesn’t require additional server work.
- It’s dead easy to change the opacity and height of the reflections.
- The reflections can respond to user action and above all its cool.
For more advanced stuff, like opacity changing with the user actions, there is reflect-o-matic tool. So get playing around and add a reflective logo… good idea right?

If you thought you can store as many images as you want, well you were wrong. At present for every blog in your account, you are allowed 1024MB or 1GB of storage space for images.
Images you post on your blogger blog are now stored on Picasa Web Albums. It is very to easy to check how much space you have already used and how much is left. Here simple procedure…
1. Click on create a new post.
2. Click on add image button.
3. Check for amount used next to Upload images option (see pic)
With Integration of blogger images with Picasa, you can see all the images on your blog at one place. To do so, go to Picasa Website , login using your Google account and you will see all the images for each blog in the account separately.
If 1GB is not enough for you and you want more, no need to worry. You need to pay a bit to get extra storage space. As per Picasa help page, following are the upgrade package they offer:
- 6.25GB ($25 USD per year)

If you run a blog on thing that cause concern is how to show old posts. One traditional way is to use Archive method, but most of us don’t use that because of lack of ease factor.
With BStir from stuffablog one can show random posts on each page. You just have to insert a javascript that point to blog name or feed to make this possible. Outcome is very neat and you can select keyword for specific JavaScript code for this service.
Only downside is: customization options are limited in terms of background color and border.Never the less service is great for blogs with lot of posts. Here is how your post link will look with Bstir.
So start serving old posts in a refreshing manner with BStir. Dont forget to check other service of Stuffablog - BMash
